Long, long walks in the early morning and late evening in your favorite beautiful park or beach will resolve your knotty tummy.
Just concentrate on breathing in and breathing out in deep, relaxed breaths as you walk, and imagine letting go of your problems as you exhale.
This works extremely well, by the way. After about two weeks of daily jaunts, you will wonder what you were so worried about.

Knots in your stomach are not a natural phenomenon. You have to identify what is causing the knots. Public speaking? Crowded room? A pretty girl? You may want to say everything, but you have to be more specific with yourself. If it is more than one thing, than deal with them one by one not as a group. Think of it as a divide and conquer of your phobias.

If it is anxiety, you can get help for it.
There is psychological help--understanding what causes the anxiety and working on how you are responding to that trigger. Keep in mind that anxiety is OUR response to a situation, so that means we can alter how we respond. It isn't easy, but it can be done.
--Identify the trigger(s)
--Identify the "stinking thinking"==what are the thoughts associated with the trigger that lead to the anxiety. Most commonly, they are "awfulizing" thoughts--imagining how horrible something is going to be, when it really isn't that bad.
--Catch yourself engaging in "stinking thinking," and stop it. It really is that easy to do, but you have to keep doing it for many days to change the automatic response.
There is also medication for anxiety, but it is better to deal with the cause of the anxiety. Nonetheless, the medications can be helpful until the pscyhological cure takes effect.

You need to ask yourself what is happening when this knot bothers you. It sounds like you need to deal with stress better, learn better coping skills. Learn relaxation techniques, deal with issues and resolve problems and maybe seek out talk therapy with a counselor.

try to focus on something else. if you have something good going on later in the day (seeing a friend, going out to dinner, whatever you're doing that you're happy about doing, even if its just taking a shower and getting in bed after work) think about how excited you are to be doing that. breathing exercises could also help- deep breath in through your nose, as slowly and deeply as you can, then out through your mouth, as slowly and completely as you can. i've also heard that closing one nostril and breathing in, then exhaling through the other nostril helps, though i've never tried it myself (seems like it would work though- you have to concentrate so much on breathing in that certain way that you distract yourself from your anxiety). i hope this helps you.
