You can put a pillow in between your legs to help it stay straight. I had scolyosis and my doctor told me to do that (as wel as therapy since I was in an accident) and the pillow helped greatly...You should try it or consult with your doc...he/she can help!

If you like to sleep on your back, try putting a pillow or two under your knees. It takes the pressure off of your lower back.
Putting a pillow between your knees when you lay on your side is good too as it keeps the lower part of your leg even with your hip and that also reduces pressure on your lower back.

Put the pillow under your knees. That causes a pelvic tilt that unloads the quadratus muscles of the lower back, and the psoas muscles of the "deep six" in the pelvic girdle. That should help.
You can see a professional about some stretches. Stretching the muscles will help too.
As a general rule, avoid heat. Heat makes the inflammation worse. Ice is normally your friend. I recommend a bag of frozen peas. You can reuse the peas, and a big bag costs a couple of bucks.
If the pain is chronic, go see a doctor.

There is no medicine for these problems. Therefore we have no other way than to go for such Alternatives.
Our merunivarak Therapy treats back pain within 10 minutes also.
There are such adjustable beds too. For the timebeing you keep loads/pillows below legs and use hard bed with woolen mattress preferably.
YOG (Meditation) is also a better option.
Acupuncture is a good option.
Pain killers kill the patient and not the pain.

If you put a small pillow between your legs (at the knees) and sleep on your side. Or if you sleep on your back, put the pillow under the back side of your knees to elevate them a bit. But it feels best with a low back problem to sleep on your side is a gentle fetal position.

Everyone is different and respond differently. Best is for you to try all of the positions mentioned yourself and feel for yourself which position would help you and use that position because one position may help another but not helps you. Other suggestions are to try the same positions while sleeping on a hard floor or a tempudic mattress.
