Jesus wept. John 11:35

I love this one because it's pretty clear from what He said to the disciples before He went to Bethany to raise Lazarus from the dead that Jesus knew what had happened and what He was going to do about it. So even though He knew the story would have an happy ending He shared the sorrow of Mary and Martha and grieved with them.

It touches me deeply that He so closely identifies with what we're feeling at the time....even when He knows that it's going to turn out well in the end.

Philippians 1:21
'For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain'

It reminds me that as a Christian I truly have nothing to fear.
