I have a Chi straightener I put a heat treatment on it before I straighten, using a straightener also gets rid of frizz!

get a expenzsive iron(work best!) and do it in sections, the sections that ur not straightening? clip them up, next time u get a hair cut, ask the stylist to staighten your hair and just watch how they do it.

get a wet-to-straight straightener. you will love it! you get out of the shower, towel dry your hair, and then (when it's damp) straighten it. it literally takes me 5 minutes to do my hair. i have elbow-length ring curls and extremely thick hair!
