I would start eating a consistent 2500 calories a day for a 2 weeks and see if there is any weight gain. if not then increase the cals by 10% each week until you achieve weight gain. monitor the body fat every 2-3 weeks once there is steady weight gain

You are reading WAAAAAAAAAAAY too many teen mags, fashion mags, pay far to much attention to the celebrity world to know what is good for you. You are being incredibly naive to think that a growing teenage body which is going through massive changes in a very sghort period of time can do that on just 500 calories a day. Your body needs ALL the nutrients and calories it can get to make you grow properly your health is very much at risk if continue in this manner.

No. You are still young so you might just have a high metabolism. But trust me, even though you are not gaining weight from eating more, you can still get diabete's and when you get older, your bad eating catches up to you. Talk to your doctor or just look up how many calories you should have a day. Honestly, You shouldnt be over eating to gain weight. If you havent gained any weight YET, then maybe you are supposed to still be skinny. If you do reach your goal, dont keep eating that much. Just diet healthy. Over eating will catch up to you.

You should not take in more calories than your body needs, or else it'll just turn into bodyfat. Simply taking on extra calories isn't a good way of gaining weight.

However, if you're exercising, especially if you're weight lifting, you should definitely increase the daily caloric intake. Go here to determine your daily needs:

If you're exercising or weight training, add 500 calories per day to this. If you're looking to lose bodyfat, subtract 500 calories from this. That's a rough guideline.

You should be consuming about 2600 to maintain your weight, so I think to gain weight 2600-3000 would be fine just make sure they are calories from healthy foods in the right proportions. More grains than meat and beans, more meat and beans than vegetables, more vegetables than milk products and milk and fruits about the same.

try 2,500 per day and see if you gain weight, if you don't eat a bit more. Once you get to your goal weight go back to 2,200 per day and if you lose weight then eat more but if you maintain keep going.

you can try to weight lift and gain muscle because muscle weighs more than fat and will make you look buff at 150 pounds instead of a tad chubby

Well, you're supposed to be eatting at least 2,500 calories a day. That's how much every human should have. I guess you could go a little over but it's what you want. Good luck!
