it could be the way you are sleeping at night. It's best if you can sleep on your back this keeps the neck in correct alignment. It could also be your pillow. there's always a reason for pain. A chiropractor can recommend the correct pillow for your neck after evaluating your spinal column.

I recommend you see a chiropractor as soon as possible. I've enclosed a link where you can find a qualified chiropractor in your area.

Cervical subluxation or compression. I would strongly suggest seeing a chiropractor, as he will be able to clear that out for you in one visit, very likely. There is no need to continue suffering with it. I cannot advocate for the art of chiropractic too strongly. It gets results. If it did not get results, I would not go. When I first began with computers, I had my monitor in the wrong location and that produced a "crick in the neck." Poor posture can do it. Slumping in a chair for an extended period of time can do it. Your mattress or pillow could be the culprit. Please go see a chiropractor.

Many years ago i had regular problems with my back, but after around half a dozen visits to a chiropractor it's been problem free since. One other thing you may want to look at is a dentist's chair, if you haven't been for a while it could be your wisdom teeth putting a strain on your neck.

I have the same almost everyday, have to take panadol extra to get rid of it, some docotrs say its incorrect posture sitting or laying in a bad position, if you are 40 or more this can happen more as you get older you must sit/lay correctly to try to stop this reoccurance.

Having said that and taken my docotrs advice I still suffer with it. go and see yours and see what they say

good luck

Paranoia. You keep looking over your shoulder to see if someone's after you. Right?
