Taking 1000mg of acetaminophen (Tylenol) will be fine.
Liver toxicity doesn't usually occur unless you've injested over 7.5 grams (7500 mg) of APAP (given no other hepatotoxic substances). HOWEVER....... the max daily dose is 4 grams (4000 mg). So, if you double up on your old pain meds, do not exceed 8 of those pills in 24 hours.
Hope that helps.

When I had a tooth abcess, I was prescribed Hydrocodone APAP 5mg/500mg. The label said to take 1 or 2 every 4 hours as needed for pain.
I would guess that you would be fine.

The max tylenol dose on a 24 hour period is four grams (4000 mg). Don't take the expired medication. Make time and go to the pharmacy and get your refill. Your pain medication has 10 mg of hydrocodone and 500 mg of tylenol.

There's 500 mg APAP in an extra-strength Tylenol, and the normal adult maximum is eight pills a day. I don't think you've got much to worry about. Acute toxicity is normally only a problem at APAP doses over 150 mg/ kg, which translates to fifteen or twenty pills, depending on your size.

Try calling you doctor or even your local drug store and talking to them about this. First see if you can take the Hydrocodone APAP that you found and if it's ok go for it. And once at the pharmacy or drug store ask the pharmacist if you can take the Tylenol now that you've taken this other medication. Just make sure to take the bottle with you, it will make thing easier for you and the pharmacist.

If you're over 130 lbs you can take 4000mg of the APAP in 24 hours. Most doctors wrongly prescribe analgesics as "1 to 2 every 4 to 6 hours" . But if you took 2 every 4 hours for 24 hours, you'd be taking 6000 mg of APAP, an unsafe dose.

Your current dosage is 10mg the old dosage was 5mg.
take two, then talk to your doctor.
It takes a lot more then 2 500mg Tylenol to cause liver
toxicity. If you are really worried about it drink green tea, it
removes the toxins from the liver.

Providing you have no problems with your liver and provided you don't drink more than 3 alcoholic beverages daily, taking an extra dose one time is not likely to be harmful to your liver. Be sure to get you 10/500 refilled so you don't have to do this again! Hope your pain goes away soon ...

OTC=over the counter, alongside with Tylenol(acetamenophen), Advil (ibuprofen, Motrin), Naproxen(Naprosyn), Aspirin. you should study and keep on with the instructions on the equipment, overdose is relative on your age, your length and your wellbeing, so it relatively is not hassle-free to declare until eventually you have been attempting to take an entire bottle, it relatively is stupid considering you may kill you liver.

follow the instructions on the bottle until tomorrow and call your doctor. hydrocodone is such a nasty drug. yuck. tell him they make you itch and sick to your stomach and the pain is keeping you awake. if he's worth damn, he'll give you something better.
