"Sticks and stones may break my bones,
But I don't go to bed alone."
Stick it to her where it hurts. And hey, if she DOESN'T go to bed alone, why don't you show her new boy toy how much trouble she's giving you? I'm sure he'll be interested to see how much she's willing to fight for some other guy..
Pretty much what I'm saying is to make one, short but simple comeback that'll hit her like a punch to the ovaries and then just ignore her. You don't owe her anything, she's not worth your time.
If this is on MySpace, be mature and realize that she's being childish and it'll only come back to bite her in the ***. If she's threatening violence against you, bring some printouts to the police. Give them the whole story and MAKE them put it in a file. Be forceful or they'll shoo you off. If you come back a few weeks later with bruises and stuff from a threat that was acted on, they already have evidence to connect her to it.
If you know her personally (meaning not just online) you could probably take her to court for harrassment. If you want, just threaten to take her to court even if you really can't or won't. Nobody wants to get sued, so if she has a brain in her head, she'll back off.
I hope something I said will prove helpful!

If the police won't help you over the phone, print out the e-mails and go in person to the station and make a police report. This person is harassing you, and threatening you. If the officer doesn't want to take a report, ask to talk to his watch sergeant. Also, notify your ISP and her ISP, and send them the threatening e-mails. Wen you sign up for your ISP you agree not to threaten or harass other people, because it makes them liable as well. She may find herself without an ISP if she keeps it up.

If you can't block them, don't read them.
As for going to the police and filling out a complaint....I don't know what that is. I'm a cop and we don't have complaint forms. We have alot of other things to attend to besides people being annoyed. Just delete them if you don't actually feel threatened. If I responded to a call for this, I would call the sender on the phone, let her know who I was and scare the hell out of her. I've done it in the past and its always worked.
Don't sue her. We have too many BS lawsuits in America. I believe you're about 15 or 16 anyways.

Get another account with yahoo or whoever you have your Internet with. Call your account SHOIVIA@wherever.xxx
Send her an e-mail advising her that she has been reported to SHOIVIA (Stalking, Harassment Of Individuals Via the Internet Agency. Tell her a file has been opened on this email account and it will be monitored.
This will probably stop the harassment since she will have no idea who this agency is or what they do.

Block her! In addition to this, the police "cannot" tell you that you cannot fill out a complaint. Print all these emails and go to the police station and fill out a complaint; if she continues to send you emails, then you can file a suit for harassment.

I think you are mistaken about your e-mail not allowing you to block her e-mails. I have e-mail though 4 different providers that I read with 4 different programs. ALL of them provide a means to block e-mails from any address I provide. My only problem is the e-mail I really want to block usually has a forged address.

It definitely sounds like harrassment. If you're worried that her threats are real, I would run it by the local police office. If you're being threatened, you're being threatened. I don't think it matters what form the threat is in.

block the email, there shouldnt be a problem and if it wont let you for some strange reason, collect all the emails, print them off and take them to the police, they cant refuse to hear you.

If you aren't willing to even change your email address then you'll have to put up with it. Otherwise print out what she's sending and threaten her with taking it to the cop shop.

Most states have laws making this a misdemeanor. In CA it would be a misdemeanor offense, likely the same in most if not all other states as well.
Contact your local law enforcement agency.
