Make a shake and drink it!

Use an electric mixer to sort of whip it back together. Then freeze for an hour or so. Whip again. Then freeze some more, do the same thing. It will have a slightly different texture when finally frozen, but at least it's not a complete loss.
You shouldn't have to whip it more than 2-3 times.

If you just don't like the texture, leave in freezer and use for really good smoothies.

Well, I agree--make a shake! Or if you really really want ice cream, I guess you can put it back into the freezer...since it's stayed cold.

You mean once it's molten? You could still put it in the freezer and try to get it to set again, or just throw it out. Since it's a dairy product you don't want it to get warm.

average ice cream will seperate, with the water sinking. I found a good additive to coffee or other hot drinks is soft ice cream....any flavour!...just no need to add sugar tho! slurp!
