You will have to call the place that sold you the warranty.
& tell them the exact mileage on the vehicle currantly. They can then tell you the approximate $ amount to be refunded based on a prorated remainder of warranty that is unused at time of cancellation.

DO NOT tell them to cancel it untill AFTER you trade it in (or sell it). Just in case....
I had a customer try to trade in a vehicle once, when it was appraised, we noticed the trans was slipping.. She was unaware of the symptom. When we told her what it was, she said she had noticed that but didn't realize what it meant.
Needless to say, the trans failed within days (while she was still 'contemplating' the deal). She had it repaired with her currant warranty......then she traded it in (& got more $ for it) THEN she cancelled the warranty
so make a call first ....just to inquire about the refund.

Your refund may actually take weeks to get, so don't count on it as 'down payment' money for your new car..
I hope this helps.
