I end the movie experience with the kids early and come get you. Then we either all go someplace together or rent a movie and stay inside the house.

you do not make the kids leave, you invite her to the movies with you.
First off in the movies, your cell phone should not be on.
yes. she would have to wait. or meet her in the lobby give her the key.
I have custody of my kids and they come first.
