To decrease the pain of any headache once it starts, try this method, but it will take you some trial and error. Take your hand and touch your middle finger to your thumb to make an O. Don't press the fingers together tightly, just make the O. Use your other hand and place your thumb on the top side of the hand making the O between the thumb and your first finger, you will feel a muscle. You can slip your first two fingers through The O to find the muscle on the inside of your hand. Slowly, with firm gentle pressure, feel around on your hand until you press a spot that is very sore, or very painful or feels like it has lots of little BB's in it. It may take a few minutes to find the sore spot, sometimes it's near the base of the thumb, sometimes it's deep in the tissue, some times your hand is sore on top, sometimes, it's sore on the palm side. Just feel until you find the right spot. Once you find that spot, massage it until the pain goes away. Do this on both hands. A word of warning, the worse you headache is, the more the hand massage will hurt. It can be so painful it feels like a nail being driven into your hand and all you are doing is massage. Just go slow, and be gentle, you will know how much pain you can tolerate. This works wonders on headaches.

How do you get rid of a migraine headache?

Simple!

Stretch your back and then your neck!

Now hold on untill you see my experiences below:

Simply put. Your brain stem is being squeezed by your neck muscles!

I had pulled a muscle in my butt and it formed a small painfull swelling in that area (Piriformis Muscle). It also put pressure on my Sciatic Nerve (trapping the nerve between 2 muscles). I had pain shooting from my lower back down the back of my left leg to my big toe. I could barely stand, walk, sit, laydown, sleep, get up or even staighten up for that matter for about a month. Thinking that the spine was causing the Sciatica problem and I could not afford any more Chyropractic Treatments. So I did similar to what they did in the old days (Dr's used to put people in Traction in a hospital bed) and stretched my spine and neck with 2 simple ropes and the use of my bedroom door and a door stopper under the halfway opened door. I also was suffering from Fibromyalgia for the past 12 years. Pain all over my body was the usual for me. Thinking that as I hang from these ropes draped over the top edge of the door my spine and neck vertebrae will be pulled apart and finally grow apart with time, untrapping the nerves. I also asked myself if this will cause my muscles and ligaments to form scar tissue and also form inflamation, squeezing the nerves of my spine even more. This swelling could squeeze or trap all the nerves coming from my lower spine and mid back and neck area. To avoid this happening I applied Teatree Oil 2 times daily to my injured butt and from my tail bone up my spine to about 1 inch above the spine where my skull starts and over all my shoulders and chest area. Teetree oil is a Powerful Natural Antibiotic and a Natural Antinflamatory (about $10 to $12 a bottle). In 4 days I was pain free. The Scyatica gone. The lump in my butt muscle gone. The Fibromyalgia pains with severe headaches (migraines) gone. I still continue this treatment which take only a few minutes a day to stretch. Do not apply the Teatree Oil for more than 2 weeks in any duration. Give a 2 week break and apply again for 2 weeks. Apply the Teatree Oil twice a month after that, as you keep doing the stretching (stretch once when you arise and once just before you retire). Get into bed immediately to let your spine heal in an open position. This method should repair most all back and neck problems naturally. Not many expences involved either.

For Migraines also put the Teetree Oil on your forhead, cheek bone area, temples, side burn area and extend applying down the neck over the area where your sinuses draining by way of your throat.

Thank you for asking!

This may seem confusing.
