find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

If you are like me, then that means you hate to exercise! Trust me, I do! You can do fun things and still lose weight. My favorite, dancing! I stay very fit a lot by dancing for 30 minutes a day. Even though I look like a dork dancing, it is a lot of fun! Good luck!

It takes 3,500 calories to equal one pound of body weight. Generally, many dieters dump an average of 1,000 calories per day in an effort to lose 2 pounds of body fat per week.
The key to losing weight is to decrease the amount of calories one intake vs. the amount on burns with exercise/activities. If one was to eat just 500 less calories per day one should expect to lose 1 pound of body weight. (if not MUCH more considering water weight)
