I have never liked twinkies either; even as a child I took a pass. Tasted like plastic to me. I like to believe that my palate is more discerning than that of a filthy disease bearing insect, however, I guess they must be pretty smart.

I didn't realize that. I suppose that the little critters are smarter than humans. It could be that the desert I enjoy is not really food. Why would a bug waste time consuming something that is not food? I do because it is sweet.

there is a chemical in the preservatives that is used in twinkes. its supposed to keep the bugs away
