A sauce pan is very low walled, like a skillet and a sauce pot is deeper like a boiler.

There is no difference. Where I come from, we don't say "saucepot", we only say "sauce pan." However, we could call the same thing a pot. Actually it IS really a pot, (not a "pan", which tends to be more shallow) and still it is called a sauce PAN! :)

I think a sauce pot is deeper (has higher sides) than a sauce pan.
