i have a 760 sony xplod amp that keeps showing "osffset" whats that all about how do i fix it why does it happen any info??

ive hooked this up to different sets of speakers i dont think that the speakers are fried but this amp is old and mostly crap should i just pawn it all and get a new system or can i fix it myself

It means that there's a DC offset in the output voltage; effectively the amplifier is putting out DC power. It shuts down to protect your speakers, which shouldn't be connected to DC. It's not a wiring issue; your amp needs to be serviced or replaced.
