shipping and handling taxes are legal if the service is provided by any company other than the US Postal Service.

I haven't been charged by Amazon. Possibly handling charges can be taxed, but I don't see why postage should be. Worth following up on. Thanks for the heads up; I'll be double checking in future and, if I'm going to be charged, I'll look for another vendor.
