What came first? The whore or the whore monger? It was a valid question. What do you think?

The first profession in the Bible (a profession is a public announcement; public = people 2+) was when Adam said in front of God and Eve that the woman was bones of his bones and flesh of his flesh. The second was when Satan said, "Yea, is it so that you must not eat...?" Yea means furthermore. Compare with Revelation 12. The difference between the Devil's speech and the angels' is the that the Devil accuses, whereas the angels give testimony even at risk to their lives.

The question of the Bible could be (and this is relevant because of the literary nature of the Bible): is it possible to address more than one person and not cause a fight if you tell the truth, or do you need to fudge a little? According to Karen Armstrong, author of A Short History of Myth, mythology began when homo sapiens became homo necans, man the killer. Therefore, at least one of the people you're announcing to might be a killer. Are you putting the life of the other/s in jeopardy if you tell things as they appear to you? How do you know what motivated them to kill in the first place? Therefore, whoredom, to get the inside dirt on what makes a killer by means of getting inside their domain.

Actually, it's easier than that. Killers kill because they believed mythology in the first place, which, from the Biblical perspective, indicates the existence of a spirit realm. Therefore, the whoremonger came first.

Micah 1 also indicates that prostitution has a foundation and images. It is idolatrous and it requires some setting up.

Revelation 17 and 18 says that Babylon the Great is the mother of the harlots. I equate this with the dragon-voiced lamb of Revelation 13 that deceives the inhabitants of the earth. The apostle Paul says at 2 Corinthians 11:3 that Eve was deceived.
