look in his eyes and say his name like its a question. Then be like I was wondering, would you like to get a bite to eat with me. smile naturally and blink twice. pause for a second and say how about 7. Then let him do the rest..... works everytime for me!! good luck

Why don't you just ask them out for tea or coffee and see how that goes? Maybe you can find out more about them before you get into dating them.
I think in the long run it gives you more of an idea if you want to date them if you are friends first.

Just go up to him and ask him if he wants to go to the movies some time. That always works for me.

Just ask him to hang out and "chill" if we can still use that word anymore but but just ask him to go out or something...keep it cool.

if you have any inside jokes try to put those into it to keep it alot less ackward. and then offer a few things like where ever you are planning but try to keep it as casual as possible so he doesn't feel to much pressure

i think it is easiest to just say.
"we should hang out sometime"
and if he says yea we should and sounds excited or interested, then you should set a time.
