I was wondering how a guy like me could flirt with a particular lady in the workplace, appropriately and of course not crossing into sexual harassment?
I am a bad flirter and shy so I need specific details on what to do!

make casual clean conversation and see where it leads. Every now and then make reference to yourself and how you treat women. Indirectly promote yourself, without being aggressive.
If she is not interested she will throw hints letting you know. However, just be respectful.
Let her make the "first move". If you never get it then you know how she feels.

Get a copy of your workplace's sexual harassmetn policy from Human Resources, and educate yourself as to whats appropriate, and whats not. Save any major fliritng for outside of the workplace.

dont act nervous, make eye contact, compliment her, and just ask her out.
