Yes! But only some vets will agree. The test is expensive but well worth if it is being passed around your household. This happened to my friend who is a RN and it turns out her Lab was giving it to her kids from playing ball with him and touching his food/water bowl.

Yes, they can. If you keep getting it, wash your hands every time you touch the dog, and don't let him lick your face.
If that doesn't work, talk to your vet.
