J. T. keeps asking questions about suicide. If you see a question re suicide look at the person's profile and the questions they have asked. He just asked one on this board about an hour ago and on the Psychology board in the past few minutes. He/she needs everyone's prayers.

When people see questions regarding suicide they need to be very careful how they respond. Often I find it best to look at the person's profile and the other questions they have asked. Often it is revealing

Do not worry too much about J.T.

Be assured, God knows what is happening and so all transpiring events are under his control by his mysterious ways. The soul is eternal, and cannot be destroyed by killing the physical body/mind. God knows all the thoughts of every living being. God also acts mysteriously, and so gives every living being the help they need/deserve. Sometimes giving somebody suffering is Gods way of bringing that person closer to him (as people look to God for help when they are at wits end, but never otherwise). Praying to God in this matter is not necessary as God already knows what is happening. Listening to J.T is more usefull than praying in this situation. If J.T can express his frustrations to a willing listener, and if one can help illuminate the ignorance that is the root cause of his frustrations, then perhaps you can help him prevent his own self destructiveness. Remember the story of the good Sumaritan! The priest walked by (perhaps even praying for the injured man), but the Sumaritan actually provided the help that the Jew required.

Father, I come as humbly as I know how to ask for Healing and Peace in J. T.'s life. The devil is a liar and the father for all lies and he has put destructive thoughts into J.T.'s mind. I Pray that you him the Sound Mind that you promised in Your Holy Scriptures. Amen!

2 Timothy 1:7 - For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

If he's truly that depressed then he needs psychological counselling and help... and there's no shame in such a thing. A lot of counselors are very compassionate and depression isn't not that uncommon anymore.

Sounds like a serious cry for help - have you contacted Yahoo about him, so they can help track him and get him help?
