buy some hair magazines or go online and look at different hair styles or celebrities hair cuts and bring some of your faves to show your stylist and ask her what she would recommend. I did that when I cut my hair. I did a very big change from past shoulders to like a short bob cut like jessica simpsons when she cut hers. i was scared but my hairdresser reassured me and told me i had the face for it and it came out really nice!!

A short cut would be good for an oval face because longer hair just makes your face look longer. Maybe go for a choppy look to make your hair look fuller and your face rounder.
