The Bible tells us how the population that descended from Noah's family had one language and were living together and disobeying God's command to "fill the earth" (Gen 9:1, 11:4). God confused their language, causing a break-up of the population into smaller groups, which scattered over the earth (Gen. 11:8-9). Modern genetics shows how, following such a break-up of a population, variations in skin color, for example, can develop in only a few generations. And there is good evidence to show that the various groups of people we have today have NOT been separated for huge periods of time.
One could say there is really only one race - the human race. The Bible teaches us that God has "made from one blood all nations of men" (Acts 17:26. Scripture distinguishes people by tribal or national groupings, not by skin color or physical features. Clearly, though, there are groups of people, who have certain features (e.g. skin color) in common, which distinguish them from other groups. We prefer to call these "people groups" rather than "races," to avoid the evolutionary and racist connotations that have become associated with the word "race."
All peoples can intermarry and produce fertile offspring. This shows that the biological differences between the "races" are not great. In fact, the DNA differences are trivial. The DNA of any two people in the world would typically differ by just 0.2%. Of this, only 6% can be linked to racial categories; the rest is "within race" variation.
This genetic unity means, for instance, that white Americans, although ostensibly far removed from black Americans in phenotype, can sometimes be better tissue matches for them than other black Americans.

We are all souls, made from the same fabric- the essence of God. As such we are all related so to say, just like the different parts of the human body are related. However, each unique part , say the finger, has a totally different function fron the eye, In other words, each soul is unique and has a Divine role in the scheme of things. The bottom line is that God loves us all unconditionally and after the training in the school of life, we shall all go back to IT and take up our duty posts.

Ah, if God made Adam and Eve, he also divided people up into different races and langages to prevent them being united (Tower of Babel, Genesis 11)

And division in families goes back as far as Cain and Abel, Jacob and Esau...

If God made only Adam and Eve, then who did their children have sex with?

And don't forget that the Mark of Cain and the Curse of Ham have been excuses for slavery and racism for hundreds of years.

Kind of like how hate against homosexuals today is being excused by the Bible. You'd think people would have learned something from the last time they used the Bible to spread hate... but no.

Even if there's no God and no Adam and Eve, there were first members of this species or some prior species. Look back far enough and we all have common ancestors.

In my microbiology class we used logarithms to calculate bacterial populations. We applied it to humans and came to the conclusion that we are approximately 19th cousins.

This contradicts anthropological theories that apply evolution to the world population. The human population was small about 5000 years ago like Noah's ark small.

We are all cousins. It's yet another reason why we should be nicer to each other.

Peace to all. =)
