Is it a voluntary action?

You can choose to not pay taxes but then you will go to jail. That is your choice.

It is not voluntary.

Think about it: if paying taxes was truly voluntary, no one would pay them. Then we wouldn't have clean drinking water, paved roads, a military, a government, police, fire protection, public schools......and so on.

Stop listening to the tax cheats who keep coming up with these fake theories about voluntary taxes.

What on earth are you talking about? If you are in the US at least, NO it is not optional. But what kind of tax are you talking about...income tax? Property tax? Sales tax? I'm assuming you mean income tax. And the answer is no, if you make money, you must pay tax (or follow the rules in doing so. I'm sure some low income earners don't pay much tax due to their incomes being so low).
