Check your local newspapers. Not all organizations list on petfinder.com and there are a few regular people on there who are giving up their pets too. You might call the pound for new arrivals every couple days.

As a side note, I recommend not buying from a backyard breeder. If they don't have papers for their animals, don't support them, it only encourages their irresponsible behavior. Wait until their puppies end up at rescue organizations to put those unqualified breeders out of business. This will help reduce the pet overpopulation problem in the long run.

I am in this Great State, and I assure u that if u go to the dog shelter, they should have one, or if u just look up once more in the internet. GL! ( Try to put spaces inbetween sentences, and words. That wound help from all the insults that the people usually put on here. Sorry... GL!!!)

Hello & Good Luck, everyone else likes them too, little dogs, specially purebreds are hard to come by..check with your vet or see if there is a chihuahua rescue center in the areas you mentioned...Take Care :)

Go on the internet and look for Chihuahua rescue. Most breeds have people who rescue them exclusively. I think chihuahuas are kind of scarce. Our rescue group has never had one. They are a prized posession for people who have housing limits on their pets, and/or have lots of money. (Paris Hilton, Britney Spears).

Don't get a chihuahua, theyre not even real dogs. They're more rat than actual dog, and they're annyoing.
