Jehovah's Witnesses believe as the bible teaches, and thus they understand one's choice to be or not be vegan to be a personal choice unrelated to true Christianity. The apostle Paul plainly wrote that formerly non-kosher meats were acceptable to Christians, once Christ's sacrificial death ended the Mosaic Law.
(1 Corinthians 10:25) Everything that is sold in a meat market keep eating [without regard for the Jewish kosher laws]
(1 Timothy 4:1-4) In later periods of time some will fall away from the faith...commanding to abstain from [non-kosher] foods which God created to be partaken of with thanksgiving by those who have faith and accurately know the truth. The reason for this is that every creation [that is, meat] of God is fine, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving
Thus, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Christianity plainly lifts the former Jewish dietary restrictions which prohibited non-kosher meats such as pork and shrimp. Of course, the early Christian congregation (including the apostle Paul himself) understood that blood and carelessly bloody foods were not to be eaten by true Christians.
(Acts 15:20) Write them [the various Christian congregations] to abstain from things polluted by idols and from fornication and from what is strangled [the meat of which would contain blood] and from blood.
(Acts 15:28-29) For the holy spirit and we ourselves have favored adding no further burden to you, except these necessary things, to keep abstaining from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled [the meat of which would contain blood] and from fornication. If you carefully keep yourselves from these things, you will prosper.
Similarly, Jehovah's Witnesses do not tolerate smoking, drunkenness, substance abuse, or even gluttony among their brotherhood. A person who engages in deathly "thrill sports" is unlikely to receive congregation privileges.
(Acts 17:25) [God] himself gives to all persons life and breath and all things.
(Psalm 36:9) With you is the source of life
(Romans 12:1) Present your bodies a sacrifice living, holy, acceptable to God

I was a Jehovah's Witness for a while and was never encouraged to be a vegan. I was also told that we shouldn't do anything to excess such as drinking alcoholic beverages or eatting too much. No smoking tabacco or other substances because your body is a temple to Jehovah God.
Your life should be to be a Witness to Jehovah's greatness so your actions should reflect this belief.

If you honestly seem up the pass connection with the scripture at John 18: 6 you are going to observe it facets to John 7:forty six wherein it states "The officials spoke back: “Never has [a further] guy spoken like this.” They knew he used to be the "Christ" that is Greek for Messiah. It says not anything approximately Him being God. Along identical traces, we might learn Philippians two:nine, wherein the apostle Paul describes what God did after Jesus died and used to be resurrected. The verse says: "God exalted him [Jesus] to a fantastic role and kindly gave him the identify that's above each and every different identify." If Jesus used to be God or same to God earlier than he died and God later exalted him to a larger role, could that no longer placed Jesus above God? Yet how might any one emerge as awesome to God? And if he used to be God earlier than he died, how can God die? There isn't any "thriller" right here. Jesus is the Son of God. Also, God continually cited Jesus as his son, and Jesus continually cited God as his father, displaying that God used to be older and had extra authority. He additionally mentioned that he got here to do God's will and no longer his possess, displaying 2 wills; his father and his. Two separate wills. If you wish to move on believing that God has 3 heads, then you definately ought to have 3 too, in view that you had been created in his photo!

No,
As a matter of fact, I know one that absolutely will not fix a meal without some form of meat.
As far as the rest of your question, they take everything in 'moderation'. Not over drinking or over eating. If it becomes known that one does, he will be counseled.

No. There were laws at one point in the Bible against eating meat, however, we are no longer under those laws.
