The only way to get fresh natural waves is to brush with the grain 45-120 minutes a day . There are a lot of products and methods out there for waves but this site has the very best of them. http://360waves.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=3875

Matrix offers something called Opti Smooth. There is cold smoothing and hot smoothing. The hot smoothing is permantently straight but the cold smoothing is just more relaxing. They do it at most salons now. It takes about 3 hours and relaxs and smooths your hair and eliminates frizz. It does not get rid of your curls completely so you would be left with waves. I have extremely curly hair and I had it done. It is about 300 dollars. Call and around and see who offers it and go in for a consultation and they will tell you in they think it's right for you. Good luck!
