I live in France since 2004, and now the new government ( Sarkozy) want to throw out all illegal workers. But I am innocent, I am honest, I just work, that's all ! But Sarkozy had promised to the voters that he would throw out all the illegal residents, and now I'm so scared. I don't know what to do now!
I am Senegal citizen,single,28 years old,and I am a construction worker.
I don't speak Turk, but of course I want to learn it !! I also speak english, french.
I am very serious and honest, I can work very hard, no problem.
I know that Turks are very kind people, very smart country, maybe you can help me. I am read to do construction works, or restaurants,or security guard work, or even cleaning the streets, I can do anything, no problem !
Please give me advice , how can I get visa and documents to work in Turkey?
I know there are not a lot of foreigners in your country, and I think you can host me, and I will be very hard worker! And I am single too ! Please help me please !

I just wonder what Sarkozy will do if he sends back all the Arab and African workers. Who is going to do all the dirty work? White French boys? They don't realize that it's the foreigners who do all the dirty work while they sit in offices in white collars. Their economy depends of you, don't worry.

Yes, I saw the news, and Sarkozy had promised to the french voters that he would send back all the foreigners who do crimes! If you are not guilty of a crime, you have no problem staying there.
But if you are illegal, he will send you back ( not only you, also the 200 000 illegal workers in France)...
You have 4 possibilities to convince him not to send you back :
- You become a successfull footballer, and French Federation wants you and obtains you to be naturalized as French citizen.
- You have a high level diploma, such aeronautics, chemics, etc, which is necesarry to french economy.
- You marry a French girl
- You win the lottery and immediatley buy a house in France, and then they can't send you back anymore( because you would be home owner)
Good luck, my friend!
Take care...

i am senegalese, living legally in the UK, working and contributing taxes, respecting their laws and their people and demanding the same respect back. why do you put yourself in such a situation? i will never be in a country where i am unwanted, i'd rather stay home and do these jobs you have mentioned there, maybe paid less, but at least i keep my dignity. France (have never been) and will not be open anymore to illegal immigrants, so why stay there? if you're ready to clean their streets and they don't even give you papers, then go home and clean the streets in your own country! I really do not understand you guys. What you accept to do in the white man's country, you would not do it in your own, and then you wonder why our countries are not going anywhere. Go home. Study. Get degrees. Illegality is bad and is giving Senegalese and africans in general a bad image.

Well, people, if Mamadou is illegal in France, some French guy is using his services, probably because it is cheaper to hire him. We should cut some slack for illegal workers, they are the victims of sweat shops, which most European citizens choose to ignore.
And Mamadou, I know that there are legal (and probably illegal) workers here, but I've read that they live under difficult circumstances. Maybe you should try getting information from the Turkish embassy. But keep in mind that unemployment is high here, too. Maybe you should wait and see what Sarkozy is actually doing.

You can not immigrate to the US if you are in France (or any country) illegally. U.S. immigration will want to see proof that you are in France legally or else they won't even look at your application. If you are violating immigration laws in France and the EU, you are more likely to do the same in the U.S. Best thing you have to do is return to Senegal and apply for residency from there.

Hello Mamadou, we have also this unemployment problem and the immigration laws are very strict in turkey so I would suggest you not to do it unless you have no other option. I hope everything works well for you.
