The afterlife was handed down from the Egyptians and adopted my the Jews. It doesn't make me feel better because I don't know for sure there is an afterlife so I try to live my life on a day by day basis. Give up this day, our daily bread.

I have studied the Bible thoroughly and suggest that everyone read and understand the following things from the Bible:

only a few are "bought from the earth";
God's original purpose for mankind, which He made from the dust of the earth, was to have everlasting life in Eden/Paradise on earth. He will restore that original purpose, and the few who were "bought from the earth" will rule with Christ over that "new earth".
Ecclesiastes 9:5
John 11:11-14
John 5:28, 29
Daniel 12:2
John 6:40
Revelation 21:2-5
Psalm 37:29
Isaiah 65:17
Revelation 5:9, 10
Revelation 14:3

agape!

It not only makes be feel better but assures me of the saying that the wheel of God grinds slowly but exceedingly well. Without the concept of afterlife how do we explain the seemingly unjust inequalities?
We must remember that SOUL never dies. It is the body that dies but the real self lives on. After all, God made us in ITS own image. Since it is absurd to contemplate that God dies, it stands to reason that Soul is Eternal. Whatever we sow, we reap! It does not necessary mean the results of our action or inaction will manifest in this life time.

I think that when we die, we die, and there is much comfort in that as you get older and more tired. But I do believe that god is everything, and in some way "remebers" me since i am a part of- and a creation of god. And there is according to the bible, hope of ressurection. So I am at peace with the fact of death, and hope is a good thing. I won't complain if I am ressurected in paradise.

No! Not really... No!

Because everyone knows that there is an end. No one wants to end.... but to think on it is to consider the end....... There are some who fear so terribly that end that they cannot remember to live.......

Why ponder the end.......? It will come when the time to end has come..... Truth be known it has not yet come.
