There are adapters at Radio Shack that will do that.

depending on how old the phone is, it should connect to a standard rj-11 modular jack..

if it is a hardwired phone, then you are going to have to either hardwire it to the jack, or connect an rj-11 plug to the phone..

there are adapters available for the older style cords..
