I find them quite reprehensible, personally. Their theories about deflowering pubescent girls in a ritual context are particularly distasteful. As a Wiccan, I would say that they fly in the face of the one central commandment of the religion: "If it harm none, do what you will" -- and therefore, I would argue that they do not even deserve to be called Wiccans.

Bottom line: they are not in any way representative of mainstream Wicca. And yes, I've actually read interviews with them. This has only reinforced my opinion.

Well I'm not a Wiccan per se, but overall I do actually like the works of the Frosts. I think they had a good mix of the esoteric and the practical when it came to witchcraft, without being bogged down by all the dogma from Wicca. I don't know if that's why so many self-proclaimed witches seem to hate them so much. Let's not forget that Wicca does not have a monopoly on the term "witchcraft".

Oh, don't get me started on the Frosts. Most of the magical community is going to be rolling their eyes, especially older ones like me.

These people are out for your money. When I was just starting out YEARS ago I took their course, and it was full of nonsense then, and they were way more interested in my money than teaching me anything. They also have some REALLY creepy ideas, the worst of which is that parents should deflower their own daughters!! I remember reading their book and being horrified by that.

Take my word, avoid these people like the plague. Try Janet Farrar and Gavin Bone, Scott Cunningham, or one of the bazillion good starting books out there.

Good luck, and Blessed Be,

Wicca and all forms of withcraft are of Satan. The only true Bible is the inspired word of God. Take a look at your life, are you really happy with who you are? Jesus loves you!!
