Hopefully Mayweather doesn't retire then this fight will have to happen. I'd say Floyd. Mosley is a great fighter and has better of a chance than anyone at beating Floyd but i think Mosleys style is based on Mosleys speed and Mayweather being faster than Mosley you can imagine how that would play out. Mayweather would beat him to the punch all night. Plus Mosley has a hard time getting decisions over good defensive fighters (Wright) and Floyd would cause the same problems leading to a UD for Mayweather. It might be his hardest fight ever but i think the pretty boy would pull it out.

Hmm.....that's a tough choice. Mosley would definitely be more challenging than De La Hoya. At 35 years old, Mosley still looks good in the ring.... definitely better than Oscar De La Hoya at 34 years of age. Mosley has only lost to two fighters (Wright and Forrest two times each) and both of them had range and used the jab effectively on Mosley. Mayweather doesn't lead with the jab a lot, so that would help Mosley somewhat.
Mayweather is faster than Mosley, but Mosley's style would make the match very interesting.
I still give a slight edge to Mayweather, just based on age and speed being in his favor.

Mosley lost three fights I pick Mayweather in this fight by late round KO . Mayweather is a fresh fighter who has not had a hare fight as a pro on the other hand Mosley has had some wars and he is older than Pretty Boy the only advantage Mosley has over Floyd is power but what good is all that power when you can,t hit the target. This would be a great fight

I have been saying for MONTHS Mayweather would take last nights fight. A retarded monkey could see that coming. De La Hoya is Spanish for "over hyped loser". Mayweather did everything right, De La Hoya was slapping his hands like a 7 year old girl. As bad as Mayweather is, Mosley would tear him apart and KO Mayweather in 9 or 10. Mosley is VERY under rated. He lost against 2 guys... so what? The people who look at a fighter with losses as a lesser talented fighter make the sport lousy. The fighters and promoters don't let the big fights happen much because they are afraid of "fans" reacting negativly. A real fan respects a fight on the basis of skill, not record. Mosley is bad azz, as fast as Mayweather, but twice as strong. Yeah, Mosley lost to Wright, but Mayweather would, and De La Hoya would too. Mosley always took risks, moving up in weight fast, taking on the best, skipping Jr. Welter to fight De La Hoya. Mosley needs more credit than he gets. But style makes fights, Mayweather does not have the proper style and therefore can not win that one.

Floyd, yet it is gonna be an in depth stable combat, Mosley heavily has have been given a shot to defeat mayweather, this could defiantly be a defining combat for Floyd if he loses to an growing to be older Mosley it will be undesirable information

Mosely.
I am a mayweather fan.
but i just dont see mayweather succeeding at the jr middleweight, or middlewight rank if he doesnt gain some pounds and start going on the offensive against boxers rather than weight till the last rounds to capitalize.

I would have to pick Mayweather, he is younger faster and more accurate than Mosley, and at 147 he would be just as strong. I would pick this fight to be closer on leddermans score card though

Well, Oscar would win, if he promoted it.
Other than that, Mayweather is retired and it's probably best. Everyone has summed his game after last night's fight and it would take a trainer a lot smarter than Roger to have a back up plan for FloydJrs next fight. The world waited to find out that dude has no fight, just one punch per round.
:-(

At this point in their careers at 147 I would take Floyd. He is in his prime and Shane is a little past his, kinda like Oscar. 5 years ago, at 135, I would go with Shane.
