The Act is very complicated, but it gives the right to 2 people to declare anyone they want a terrorist! Including Americans!

It strip habeas corpus from the constitution. The only other president to do that was Lincoln!

It allows you to be arrested, never charge with no access to a civilian court.

If charged, you are tried by a military tribunal, not a jury of your peers, you have not been indicted as required by the constitution, and if given the sentence of death, you have no right to appeal it to the US Supreme Court!

The Act was also a way around the US Supreme court where Bush lost on constitutional grounds twice!

It also gives Bush a free pass from any war crimes he has committed, back dating it to before the war started!

The president DOES NOT HAVE the inherent right to violate the constitution. His DUTY is just the reverse!
