Do u think age differences matter?

Im seeing this guy and i have strong feelings 4 and i actually geel so comfortable wit and i can actually b myself but the thing is we have 5 yearz age differences. Do u think its gonna work or am i wastein my time?

Age is nothing but a number... Once you're legal. If you're both minors, it's less likely to work because you've still got a lot of time to grow into who you're going to be. It's hard to have a functional relationship while both parties are trying to establish an identity for themselves. But if you're both of age, then yes it can work. There's 12 years between my bf and I, and I've never been happier. We both know what we're looking for and where we stand with each other. Once you're both adults, age doesn't seem to matter as much

Age means nothing! Its factors like compatibility, attraction, like character traits, etc. that counts. It is either there or absent. Feeling comfortable with him is a good start, it means the inhibition of shyness is less of a stumbling block. Feeling comfortable to be yourself is also a good sign: it shows less pretense which have to be worked off before you can start a relationship. I'm sure he actually feels that way too, but you are seeing problems which do not exist.

Are you 13 and he is 18? Or maybe the reverse? Under 20, it makes a huge difference but over 20, who cares? My husband was five years younger than I, and it never bothered us at all.

Depends on how old you guys are. If you're 20 and he's 25, makes no difference. If you're 12 and he's 17, yep, big difference.
