Wait a minute Bob. Just because whatever his name is asks a question like this doesn't in and of itself mean he hasn't "read". Nor does it necessarily imply he/she is scared by evolution or is a "ranting narrow minded fundamentalist".
Now, if I sent this email with just the above paragraph only, you and others would assume I'm a fundamentalist. WRONG. I don't care for "ranting narrow minded fundamentalist". But I try not to jump to conclusion before I have more information. That's what fundamentalists do or anyone who is defensive.
Back to the question. Bob's explanation, otherwise, makes sense.

It is too bad that you do not take the time to actually READ. For starters, look at Darwin's "The Origin of the Species." It does not say that humans evolved FROM monkeys. Rather it says that we have a common ancestor, monkey's went one way, and we another. Is Evolution what scares you or is it the rantings of your narrow minded minister in a fundamentalist constructed gathering of people enjoying a tax benefit (no taxes to the church) for their ignorance?
