Based on trying to claim Judaism, but without all those pesky laws.. And even the laws they "keep" can be bypassed though blind faith, a universal "get out of hell free" card... Just to make sure that others are "punished", they also invent the concept that all people are born with sin, and need to join their club to get out of it

Originally, based on Judaism and monothesitic in nature. Now corrupted by pagan ideas brought into the "church" by pagan gentiles. Corruption started around 120 years after Jesus was gone. Rationalization has changed the monotheistic religion of Abraham into a polytheistic one, far from what the Creator GOD desires.

It is ultimately based on the Gospels.
People can say "It's about accepting Jesus" and "It's about doing the things Jesus taught" and what not, but all of those answers still come down to looking at the Gospels as the source, because that's the only independent source on Jesus.
The "Christ" in the name Christianity refers to Jesus Christ AS HE IS DESCRIBED in those books. Likewise, the rest of the New Testament and even the Book of Mormon is ultimately based around the Gospels.
So finding direct answers or inspiration in the Gospels is the one aspect that distinguishes all sects of Christianity from all of the other world religions.
(Of course, whether the accounts in the Gospels were historical, and not just another collection of the same old archetypes, is another story.)

Christianity is based on believing by faith that the secret to true satisfaction is only found in one place. The secret to true and lasting satisfaction is only found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. When we accept Christ, not only will we have a relationship with the Creator of the Universe, but we will also have the wonderful assurance of all He promises us in The Bible. As His children, we will go to Heaven when we die and live with Him forever.

Jesus is the only way of salvation because He is the only One who can pay our sin penalty (Romans 6:23). No other religion teaches the depth or seriousness of sin and its consequences. No other religion offers the infinite payment of sin that only Jesus Christ could provide. No other “religious founder” was God become man (John 1:1,14) – the only way an infinite debt could be paid. Jesus had to be God so that He could pay our debt. Jesus had to be man so He could die. Salvation is available only through faith in Jesus Christ! “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

True Christianity believes the Bible is the perfect word of God. That we can never "earn" our way into heaven and that we must believe Christ Jesus is God Almighty. We believe that God Almighty is Christ Jesus, in ALL His Glory. We believe in Christ Jesus' death on the cross and His resurrection and ascension back into His rightful place in heaven. We believe that we are saved through faith in Christ Jesus and we accept His free gift of Grace not based on our actions or works, rather, we receive His Grace and our salvation through faith in Him. The idea of Christianity is that we are all sinners and deserve eternal separation from God Almighty, no matter how many good works we do, these works cannot make us clean from sin. First we believe, then we are saved, then God will produce the good works in us, by His doing, we do not boast of these works, rather we give all praise and glory to God Almighty, for producing His works in us. We do not worship "Objects" or "Men" we worship Christ Jesus, in His flesh and in ALL His Glory.
Praise The Holy Lamb Of God.!!!!!

Well it is based on paganism with the blood drinking and killing sacrifices, it is based on philosophy, mythology and psychology in part. The book known as the bible is a fictional story which was made up to keep a group of people together, it isn't really needed anymore

It is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ, the Passover Lamb of God who was slain for the ransom of many so that they could have fellowship once again with God the Father and live with Him eternally.

One of the oldest summaries of Christianity is that of Paul in 1Cor 15:3, 1: "For I delivered unto you first of all that which also I received: that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; .... and that he hath been raised on the third day according to the scriptures." Of similar purport are the apostle's words in 2Cor 5:18, 19: "God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation; to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses." From this reconciliation springs the new life of believers (Rom 6; 2Cor 5:14-17).

In the first place, Christianity is NOT a religion, although many peoples have turned it unfortunately into one! It is a 'way of life' as taught by Jesus Himself to His followers, the Disciples, nearly 2000 years ago!!
And the best place to find these 'ideas' as you put it, is in the Sermon on the Mount! I'll paste them here for you to read:
The Beatitudes
1And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. 2Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:
3"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4Blessed are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted.
5Blessed are the meek,
For they shall inherit the earth.
6Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
For they shall be filled.
7Blessed are the merciful,
For they shall obtain mercy.
8Blessed are the pure in heart,
For they shall see God.
9Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God.
10Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11"Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
