As a 53 year old woman, I would say you sound like a nice deal but just a touch desperate. It's nice that you want to give real love, which is in short supply these days, but what do you expect in return? Do you mean that you want her to stay home with you or you want her to supply the house? As the person ahead of me said, are you employed or retired, mentally stable, no dug or drinking problems, no criminal intent, and willing to compromise with your partner?
And I'm happy that it works for her but I would wonder about a man in his 50s marrying a woman in her 30s. Looking for a daughter, is he?

I don't know...do you have a job or at least a decent retirement? Age isn't a factor...hardworking, kind, generous, loving: all those are important. My mom is your age and this guy she has been dating is worthless, no job, just calls he when he wants a free meal, or sex of course.
Don't worry about your age. My husband is 56 and a wonderful guy...wouldn't trade him for the world.
