Seems to be the logic of some. I just can't seem to make myself do that.

Believe in what you want to believe in. Everyone is different so what is best for them, is different then the next person. For some people it is better to believe in something that is not there, like children with imaginary friends. But for others, they would rather not be ignorant the rest of their lives. Believe in what is best for you! I believe whatever God or Goddess is out there is in each of us and in the world around us. Hope I've helped!! ~Eve

It's better for a theist. If you just believe in some other God or gods, then belief in something without justification isn't subject to criticism.
But atheism is a danger, because then all bets are off.

I think its better to believe in no god then any god.
Don't forget, the bible says Jesus is a jealous God.
remember the ten commandments?
you shall have no other gods before me.
So, I think its better to be an atheist rather than a pagan or satanist.
But you know, it clearly says in scripture that if you do not accept Jesus as your savor you will burn in hell.
I pray for you all the time anyway.
God Bless

No. Believing in any god who isn't God Almighty is equal to being an Atheist. The Bible says you will have no other gods before me, it also says that ignorance is willful and that those who make no room for God in their logical minds will perish. To God all sins are created equal...a sin, is a sin.

Obviously, you have none, one, or many gods.
If you believe the revelation recorded in the bible, you will find the term "father" for God. Actually, God is spirit. God gave Moses his name YHWY which states that He always existed and there is no other.
If you don't believe in the revelation, it frankly doesn't matter. Because the boat has already sailed.

Ridiculous to whom? You should believe what calls to you, and if nothing does that is fine as well. There is nothing that says you must believe or you must disbelieve all that matters is leading a righteous happy life.

I don't know if it's better but for me, I feel more safe knowing that there's a god and spirits out there that may be on my side, even in my worst times. It's a comfort really.

Sorry I'm almost convinced this is the only life we shall have but no God? So it doesn't matter what god is unless you can go to bed with him or her.

1 Corinthians 8:5-6 say's:" For even though there are those who are called 'gods' whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many 'gods' and many 'lords', there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are, and we through him. " Also in John 17:3 it say's that it means 'everlasting life' taking in knowledge of the 'only true God' and of the one whom he sent forth, Jesus Christ.

It's better to believe in Tooth fairy, than in Jesus. I think a story about Tooth Fairy is more credible. Some people argue that an Easter Bunny story has more credit.
