not unless you are still a maid, you can as you said be a matron of honour,
which is virtually the same thing. this goes back to when brides were expected to be virgins and so still a maiden. Her attendants were expected to be the same, thus a married attendant ( no longer a maid) would be a matron of honour .

Yes. You don't want to disappoint your friend by saying no because I am married. There is no set requirements to be a bridesmaid. Only the bride can set requirements, but if she asked you, then you meet all the requirements to become a bridesmaid.

You can be a bridesmaid if you are married or not. If it is just a regular bridesmaid, that is your title. If you are the principal bridesmaid and married you are called the matron of honor, if you are unwed it is the maid of honor. Hope your friend has a wonderful wedding!

It doesn't matter if you are married to be a bridesmaid. A Maid of Honor is someone who isn't married, and a Matron of Honor is some who is married. But a bridesmaid is a bridesmaid no matter what the marital status is.

Yes you will still be called a bridesmaid. Matron of honor just refers to a Maid of Honor that is married.

You can keep the title of bridesmaid or you can take the title of matron. But not matron of honor.

Yes, you can still be a bridesmaid as a married woman. Maid of honor goes to the chief bridesmaid who is unmarried; matron of honor goes to the chief bridesmaid who is married. All other women in the bridal party (except the mother of the bride, of course) are simply bridesmaids.

Yes you keep the title of bridesmaid. The title of maid of honor changes to matron of honor if the woman is married.
