I always knew and it's always been clear in our house that our dad spanks our mom just like he spanks us whenever she disobeys him but he usually does it in private so we've only just heard it. But the other night we BOTH got spanked in front of each other. Here's the story, I went out to a party, which I wasn't suppose to go to, and let's just say I drank a little, HUGE NO NO! So I was suppose to be home at 12 but didn't have a ride home so I had to call mom to come pick me up. Well she could tell I had been drinking and i told her not to tell dad cause I didn't want to be spanked tonight. Well when we got home there was dad, he asked what was wrong mom said nothing, I was just sick. So dad went over to me and smelled the alcohol. So then him and mom got in an argument when mom cursed him out, which I've never heard her do before. So he was pissed! He told me Id be spanked first and told mom to stand and wait. He grabbed me lifted up my skirt and spanked the daylights out of me. Then told me to wait right there. He wanted me to watch mom's punishment too cause he said that since mom lied and acted like a child then she should be spanked no different then me. Mom was shocked! She kept asking him to take her in the other room and do it, it's too embarassing, but dad said too bad.(I laughed a little after he said that, cause now she knows how I feel) So mom went over his knee, dad pulled up her skirt and spanked her for what seemed like forever! I told mom later that I was sorry I got her in trouble but she said it was her fault and she was the parent and she deserved it. ANYWAY, anyone else seen their mom spanked?

A lot of people on here say to call domestic abuse authorities. What they do not realize is there are couples out there who have accepted a life style known as Loving Domestic Discipline.
This is where one spouse, not always male, is agreed to be the Head of Houshold and it is his primary reposnsibility is discipline and punishment of all members of the household. Including his/her spouse. Many couples have accepted this lifestyle and have found it to be fullfilling.
It is not abusive if the lifestyle was agreed upon by both spouses. It sounds like this is what has happend in your household considering you said you heard your mom getting spanked before.
If you dad and mom agreed to this many years ago, then your dad was right in spanking your mom. SHe showed disrespect for his authority and she lied to him, in my house that is worth at least a hairbrush spanking.
However, I would never spank my wife in front of the children. That I just don't think is right. I never spanked my children in front of other children, nor have I ever spanked my wife in front of them.

You are in BIG trouble, young lady. This post is totally inappropriate. Making fun of your brother for getting spanked is absolutely unacceptable. If you think it's so amusing that you have to share it with the world perhaps we will let the world decide what happens to you. I'll be posting my own question about this and we'll just see what the response is.

i think that whats happeing is EXTREEEMLY innapropriate her son is 16 and shes not only being physically abuseive but mentally. shes humiatiing him there are much better ways to deal with a 16 year olds behaviour issues and i dont find the situation funny at all frankly is disgusting. children in general should not be spanked especailly with objects!!!! thats assult with a wepon not corporol punishment. children over 7 years old should not be spanked its demeaning! if shes not carefull shes going to lose both you and her son. your brother has probly been severly emotionaly and mentally scarred and i hope it doesn't **** up the rest of his life!

I'm 51 years old. But when I was a child I regularly saw my father spank my mom. I think it was more common it the past. What is called DD marriage now was called a normal marriage then.

WOW no my dad doesnt spank my mom if they get in a argument my dad just walks away or goes on a car ride but no they dont hurt each other.

Contrary to the cries of abuse stated above, you shouldn't just jump up and shout "domestic violence." What it sounds like to me is that your mom and dad are in what's called a "domestic discipline" relationship, where one adult member of the household is answerable to another member for wrongdoings. While I disagree with his decision to spank her in front of you (I don't know how old you are, but it's still a private affair between adults, in my mind), there is nothing wrong with this lifestyle as long as it's consensual between both parties, which sounds like the case to me. Let them live their lives and don't try to interfere with how they resolve things between them.

If anyone ever hit my mom I would fight them no matter how big or tough they were--I would fight them though I would get beat to bloody cuts. If you do not help the woman who gave you life and did a million other things for you who would you defend??
