find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

ok so here's what you do.
*cut out soda for a month straight and see how you feel after drinking only water (no juices either, lots of sugar which turns into fat) you'll feel sooo much better trust me. after that than just only drink it like once or twice a week. hard i know! but its good for you trust me
*eat high calorie breakfasts, not like cheeseburgers and fries but ya know, something with calories and carbs too. carbs turn into fat so make sure you stay very active in the day so that you burn that gross stuff off.
*excercise at LEAST 30 minutes a day, an hour idealy::: run a mile, walk two miles (power walk though) and listening to music while excercising helps to pass the time it seems like.
*lower stressers. whatever causes stress try to stay away from it and blow it off unless its important and you can't forget it like school or a job interview or something haha.
*keep your diet and excercising habits regular. don't do like 9 hours of excercise one day and then like 2 minutes the rest of the week and then quit and start again. keep it consistent.

okay so now you should know the hard parts. mentally, you have GOT to keep yourself going!!! that's the biggest part of all of this. whenever you jogging or something, then think "omg i need to keep going so i can be able to see the difference between my hips and my stomache!" trust me i have to do that to myself too. im not heavy or anything but i don't wanna lose myself either. another thing is, DON'T WEIGH YOURSELF UNTIL YOU CAN SEE A EXTREMELY DRAMATIC PHYSICAL CHANGE. that would be after a few months. put away the scale and only go by how you feel and by what you look like. THEN you can weigh yourself and don't get upset if it wasn't 35 pounds you lost. it will take A LONG TIME to lose this amount of weight in such a short period of time. so watch yourself. good luck!

excercise- stop drinking regular pop try switching to diet- oh yeah technically you have to change the way you eat- forever- not just a short time or your goona put it back on- most people drink 5 or 6 pops a day that is almost the 2000 calories a day you are allowed- you dont have to make changes all at once- one week cut out pop and the next cut down on the butter and the next cut out sugar- it is not an easy task but you can do it- good luck

Here's how I lost 70 pounds :

On breakfast eat whatever you want to, try to eat high calorie food, don't eat fruits and vegetables, soups. Your aim is to get energy for the rest of the day. Then the whole day eat fruits and vegetables, can eat vegetable salad with vegetable oil, 2 glasses of milk, and can eat couple of pieces of seafood. Don't eat 4 hours before going to bed. During the day drink apple cider vinegar with juice (2 tbs of vinegar on a glass of juice). And take 6 tbs of coconut of oil during the day, preferably between the meals.

Exercise every day for 30-60 minutes.

I've tried all the diets, and it's the only one that works; Trust me I know what I'm saying : I'm veteran of dieting :-).

confidence and patience. one has to realize it's not going to come all at once. it's going to take time. and the less stress one has the faster and more comfortable it will be. start off slow like cuttin back on sugars and making a routine for yourself. then bump up the exercise each week. and before you know it you'll look great. but only you can know your limits. good luck
