How do I make my Front fork bouncy.?

I have Dirt Jumper III 2004. And I find wen you press down there not soft. I went to the Bike shop and there not helpfull.

Why do you want your fork bouncy?

Now, maybe you want it plusher, which is different. Did you find out that before it was plusher but now it's hard? Probably you need to oil the thing (sorry, I'm not mechanically inclined), or change the seals. How does it feel on the trails?
