The 1st commandment states.

"I AM THE LORD THY GOD, THOU SHALT NOT HAVE strange gods BEFORE ME."

Why would THE GOD be worried about other gods if no other gods exist? Is it possible that there are multiple gods fighting for the loyalty of humanity?
Even if you argue the fact that god did not want man to idolize material images, who can prove what is a false god and what is not?

Moses was Egyptian. They believed in multiple Gods. Moses (or whomever actually wrote that) was trying to get people to be monotheistic.

1. What version of the Bible are you using?

2. Here are some verses that say that God is the ONLY God:
"Some people say, quite rightly, that idols have no actual existence, that there's nothing to them, that there is no God other than our one God, that no matter how many of these so-called gods are named and worshiped they still don't add up to anything but a tall story. They say—again, quite rightly—that there is only one God the Father, that everything comes from him, and that he wants us to live for him. Also, they say that there is only one Master—Jesus the Messiah—and that everything is for his sake, including us. Yes. It's true."1
"I'm the only God there is— The only God who does things right and knows how to help. So turn to me and be helped—saved!— everyone, whoever and wherever you are. I am God, the only God there is, the one and only."2
God clearly states that he is the ONLY God.

2. When God is refering to other gods, He means fake gods -whether of other religions or anything that we make more important than Him. They don't have to be material. Anything that has mmore importance in an individuals life than God is a "false God."

3. If there are "multibple gods fighting for the loyalty of humanity," why doesn't the Bible ever mention other 'gods' who fight with the one God? If there are other gods, the Bible would've mentioned them at least once in all 66 books. Are there any religious books -credible- which mention one religions gods fighting against other religions gods?

Let's address the premise behind your question:
Why would THE GOD be WORRIED about other gods [emphasis added]

This is where, as far as I can tell, your thinking derails. God is not "worried" about other gods (as if they exist and could somehow dethrone Him) but what the effect is upon us if we turn from Him. The results are depicted in another place in the Bible, namely Romans. Here the apostle Paul tells us that the first step away is to not be thankful toward God. Then, mankind turns to worshipping a god made in the image of sinful man, then birds, then beasts, and ultimately creeping things. The result of this is a depraved mind and is, according to the scripture, a source of homosexuality. You may read it for yourself in the first 3 chapters of the book of Romans.

In order to fully understand the first commandment, you must read the details of the second commandment. He is talking about idolatry.
(1) “You shall have no other gods before me.” This command is against worshipping any god other than the one true God. All other gods are false gods.

(2) “You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them;

It is the difference between God and gods.

ʾelōhîm plural of 'elowahh; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative :- angels, × exceeding, God (gods) (-dess, -ly), × (very) great, judges, × mighty

Got ot admit it was a slick way of inserting the "proof of God" question in a new format.

God is Truth therefore all others are false. A=A

1 Cor. 10:20: “The things which the nations sacrifice they sacrifice to demons, and not to God.”

2 Cor. 4:4: “The god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.” (Here the Devil is referred to as a “god.” See 1 John 5:19; Revelation 12:9.)

Matt. 7:22, 23: “Many will say to me [Jesus Christ] in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness.” (Even professing to be a Christian is not a guarantee that we are acceptably serving the true God.)

This command is against worshipping any God other than the one true God. all other Gods are false Gods. It would be foolish for the true God to say "Go ahead and worship those false idols if you want." Of course not!

Anything you place more important than "God", IS a god to you. For example a cigaret is more important to many than the true worship of God.
Money is God to many. Etc..........other examples can be found @ watchtower.org
