i've been going to w.w. for 10 weeks now, i work shifts so cant always get to my own meeting so i will go to a different one the next day. now i have never had a positive result from the other meeting, even though i've lost weight i always seem to weigh more at the other class, this week i put 2 and a half pounds back on! i know you are supposed to use use the same scales each time but w.w. actually recomend to use a different class if you cant make your own. they use electronic scales at the meetings.
Its very disheartening

It would seem that since you always weigh more at the"away" meeting, their scale must be set a little higher than the "at home" meeting's scale. Find out how they are calibrated.

When you go back to your regular meeting place have you lost the appropriate amount of weight to cover the two week period? If not then something else might be at work here.
Possibilities include time of day or time of month could cause water weight gain; stress also could account for weight fluctuations. Then there is the possibility that you have gained muscle which weighs more than fat. In that case it will help you to burn off the fat, so that is a good thing.

In any case it is the long run that is important here. We have many fluctuations and minor set-backs in life which we learn to shrug off then go on to do our best and usually come out ahead. Good luck with your self improvement. Whatever you do have fun! Life always moves more successfully when you are having fun.

I follow WW too and got all the info online without paying a penny.
I have lost about 17lbs so far but my weight can differ between morning and night and depending on the time of month. I do weigh myself but tend to go on clothes to tell me whether or not I have lost anything.
If you don't find the meetings help then ditch them. As said they are just a way to get you to pay out extra money. However if you find them helpful, keep going, but just rely on one set of scales results only.

now there's one thing you shouldn't let those people get you into a disheartening situation be proud of what you have accomplished and keep saying to yourself "i love how much weight I'm losing" and trust me the pounds will start sliding off like water from the side of a car. LOL with such a negative attitude like the one you have expressed to us in this question you'll go no where but down in life but with a positive attitude you can do whatever you want to. YOU CAN DO IT IF YOU TRY V-I-C-T-O-R-Y! LOL

Buy your own scale and use that... also, are you exercising? You may be gaining muscle. I do weight watchers.. without going to meetings... and in spite of what they tell you, you will still lose weight even if you don't attend meetings. They say it's just a way to hold you accountable, but for a lot of people,l its a way of embarrasing you when you've done everything right and still gain weight.

i've known people that went to one doctor in the morning and another in the afternoon and wieghed more before lunch than after. different scales weigh people differently. get your own scales for home and go by what it says, no matter what the meeting scales say. good for you losing weight! keep it up.
