We never know how people have responded to Christ in the end. It's not about worship but response to a calling I think, and then what we do about it. Yes as a Christian I most definitely think that Jesus is the only way of salvation. And that any other path means separation from God.

There are 30,000 different kinds of Christianity. Some believe that non-Christians are not going to heaven, some believe that non-Christians will go to heaven, some don't believe in heaven.
Personally, I follow the teachings outlined by the so-called Greek Fathers like Gregory of Nyssa. In short, the goal of each and every person is moral perfection. At death, all human beings enter a temporary state of purgation (or purification). All human beings will be saved on earth (not in heaven) at the end of the age. The benefit of Christianity is that it offers sacramental (or ritualistic) practices that help bring about moral perfection (but only when properly applied), and offers a more accurate theological and philosophical model (but only when properly understood). Otherwise, all human beings will be saved at the end of the this age. Some people (Christians and non-Christians) are closer to moral perfection, others are not.

No. People don't go to heaven for one reason only...sin. Did I just say that? That sounds so archaic and outdated. I mean...who really believes in that stuff anymore (aside from the ignorant radicals)?
But when you stop to reflect on the great chasm of unknown after death you at some point must ultimately confess that not knowing what comes after death is an unsettling thought.
I'm sure you are confident at this moment that if there really is a god, that (He, She, It, or They) would surely not condemn anyone to a place of utter darkness simply for unbelief. And if that was so, surely said "god" would make the reality of (His - used generically) existence more readily apparent. There would be no element of searching out a hidden god. And there certainly would be no element of faith based on limited insight such as fundamental Christian doctrines would espouse.
Well the disgustingly indifferent reality of the matter is that if god exists, it is very likely that we don't make the decision on matters of eternal destiny (eternal assumed), but that god does. You can roll the dice on the justice system you've created in your own mind that would certainly entitle you to a blissful afterlife (granted there is an afterlife) by virtue of the fact that you would judge yourself to be a worthy and sufficiently good person; a relaxed standard that we rarely extend to others.
But if you're wrong on this issue, the consequences may be grave. The stakes are high and gambling on this issue may be the worst decision you could possibly make. Think about it; you've been wrong before, it would be devastatingly tragic to trust this issue your own limited reasoning.

NOT AT ALL, these three religions are higly compatible, some fanatics Christian just to provoke you say such thing, Jesus made it clear thousand times that to go to heaven has nothing to do with your race or religion but for your facts, there is not term like "infidel" AT ALL in Christianity which is based in freedom and tolerance, Jesus died in the cross and his last words was "forgive them cause they don't know what they are doing", so forgiveness when is real remorse and will of change is basic, so how can you think any guy who had read 3 lines of the teachings of Jesus can say such thing.
Yes, meaning Jesus, as his teachings, Freedom, Tolerance, love.... then yes, this is the way to go to heaven, being a good person...
The person closer to God is the one who has God closer to his heart...clear?

Yes. As to the comment above "some do, some dont" those that dont are not orthodox Christians ergo they are not Christian. Mormon's and JW's call themselves Christian but their doctrine belies their claim. The so called Social Justice Movement is populated with Pastors who call themselves Christinans but are not.
Here is the bottom line: "Today, the strongest indicators of where a church is theologically, politically, socially, and thereby economically, are their view of homosexuality and abortion. If they are sins, you’re likely looking at a healthy, Bible-believing church. If they are not a sin, you’re looking at a political group fronting as a church.”*

Most Christians that I know leave the whole going to heaven thing up to God. I depend on God's grace and I don't speculate on where other people will end up for only God knows. I trust God to be All-Merciful,All-Just,All-Wise,All-Knowing,All-Good ,Almighty, etc.

Jesus said to tell all nations about the wonders seen.. and to spread the faith. He never said anything about condemning others. God judges us, not anyone walking on this earth at the present time, and if they do, well I am sure God takes a dim view of creatures thinking they are doing his job!

The Bible is very clear about this matter. Jesus is the way and the truth and the life, and no one will enter to the Father's house except through Him.
We have a free will....and choice to make. But what is even more serious:not making a decision is making a decision.

The official teaching of the Catholic Church is that the Church provides 'the fullness of means of salvation' for individuals. However, it is also explicitly said that this does not mean that anyone not in perfect communion with the Church is, for that reason, ineligible for salvation.
However, I do understand that many protestant denominations do believe that people are saved by faith alone.
