Yes, I believe so. I believe that if we know that we are going to die, we try to make the best of our days. We are trying to show those we love how much we care about them. We become easier to let go of things that used to matter us. We will realize that Love is the priority and every worldly reward will be set aside. I wish I could live the day as if everyday is the last day of me.

That's a really good question. If I knew tomorrow was my last day on Earth, I think I probably would have done some things differently today. Not major things, but for example instead of leaving my little boy with my mom, and going to visit with my boyfriend's parents, I would have spent the entire day with my child, and my mother. I also would have tried to make time to sqeeze in my brother and sisters. But as for the kinds of things I think you're talking about, no, I don't really think so. I try to always live my life in such a manner that I can be happy with myself. I'm not perfect, and I make mistakes, but as a human being, it's expected, right. We were made to be imperfect creatures. I don't believe that to be okay when "graduating from Earth" you have to be this totally perfect person. I have some loss in my life of people that I loved very much, and I think that alters your perceptions of life somewhat. For example, if I love you, friend, family, romantically, whatever, if I see you, or talk to you on the phone, the last thing I will say to you is bye, love you. I never want the last time I see or talk to someone I love, for them to not hear those words. And we never know when the last time we will see someone is. No crystal balls. So I think the only thing I would do differently, and it's something I keep meaning to do anyway, is to write my son a few letters for important milestone dates like 13th b-day, getting license, graduation, marriage, etc, only I would do it right now instead of answering questions!

Not necessarily. I have heard many people say that if they knew they were dying they would try and fit in every sin they could before they go. We should be living better lives all the time because no-one knows the day or the hour.

I don't think I would appreciate knowing when I die, because I mean death is unavoidable, so you should always live your life knowing that you might die the next day.
I would become paranoid.
Because I would know, that every day that passes is just another day closer to my death, and I wouldn't be able to focus on my goals, where as when you don't know, it's just a vague knowledge that "it might happen" rather then "it IS going to happen". (if that makes any sense)
Just live this life to the fullest every day, so in the after life, you won't have any regrets.

The moment that we leave the womb we are on a daily journey towards death and it can happen at any moment along that journey, so it is better to live each day as if it were the last and then perhaps we would be better prepared to meet God.

One does not always live better lives cause I have known some people that knew they were leaving here and was very hateful and did awful things before they passed away.

So, basically, you want to be able to know when you will die, so you'll know how much time you have to get on God's "good side"?
If we truly have a supreme being, I think it will be able to see through such selfish actions.
