this pain could be related to your back surgery. Anything involving the spine can cause nausea and headaches. Be sure you are drinking lots of water and sports drinks. Because you are having the cat scan I think you will get some answers. Make an appointment to see your doctor right after the cat scan.

In the emergency room and they are going to give you another shot, but you won't find out what is causing your problem. You have to go through the testing.

I've had an ED for 15+ years. I've been purging since day 1. This is not responsible information I'm about to give, but it's just the way it is... If you aren't ready for treatment and ready to get better, don't mention it. Blood in your vomit is very common for people who purge regularly. If it's not a lot of blood, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just let it heal for a couple days before going at it again. As for the pains, those are normal, too. They're most likely electrolyte imbalances that cause muscle cramps. Sip on a Propel water, or if you can tolerate the calories, drink a Gatorade or whatever brand you prefer. If you get the cramps pretty regularly, take a prenatal vitamin every day. It really helps. But really, treatment is your best option. Take it from me, if you wait too long it only gets harder. Take advantage of that fact that your parents can pay for treatment and get help while you can.

What kind of anesthetic did you have? If you had a spinal you probably have what is called a spinal headache. What happens is if you don't lay flat for long enough after that type of anesthetic, it mixes with your spinal fluids wrong and causes a horrible headache. I had mine for almost 6wks.

Since you are recovering you may have also pinched a nerve in your neck/shoulder area, from laying around, but that type of headache shouldn't really make you feel like vomiting.
Good Luck

There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis,
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Your problem is from excessive acidity and constipation.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Avoid late sleeping if possible;spicy, sour, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, sweet fruits, milk, rice and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.

Headaches can be caused by minor problems
like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons
like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can
have harmful side effects, so it is better to
modify your lifestyle. More information available at
