...and for it to allow u to upload a large file of maybe 1gb...currently i use gspace but it limits u to only upload files of 10mb (or something like that..cant remember exactly)

i go to http://www.desktoptwo.com/ . they have 1 gb of storage space for each user, and it acts as a "web-based desktop", meaning you can navigate the page as if it was another computer. here is a link to a screenshot:

Its not the gspace that limits you, its the actual file size of 10MB, even if you use another FTP software, you still going to hit the file size limit, 1GB of space meant you can store that much, but not in 1 giant file.
