Hello,
Collect all the letters together as they would be from several different areas geographically and departmentally. Either call or write, write is better explaining the situation. The person to ask for is the Letter Registrar. The local church can get this done but they will need to know where the other letters are coming from.
Regards Michael

I've known others to run into this problem. They didn't have much luck in deterring the unwanted letters.

You should probably go straight to the post office with the letters and tell them that mail for the deceased prior resident should NOT be sent to you any longer.

Put an X through the address and print in large marker letters "R T S" and drop it in the mail.

Get a big manila envelope, mark every piece deceased, include a nasty letter telling them to remove your address form their mailing list, then send the whole thing postage certified mail with delivery confirmation, and if possible postage due. If that don't work send them a cow pie.

If there are "Postage paid" return envelopes inside, cram as much of the stuff the sent YOU back into that envelope and mail it back. They have the pay for that postage and all they get is their own crap back.

I use that tactic on all junk mail in general. I've not been getting much junk mail anymore.

Cross off the name/address listed, mark "deceased; return to sender" on the envelope & send it back.

Start writing "Return to Sender" or "Refused" on all the mail and give it back, unopened, to the postal service.
